DESCRIPTION

We're constantly asked: "why don't you make a Likewise reverse lockout?". We've always wanted to - we just didn't want to release the same design as every other bastard.

We took this as an opportunity to develop something different, something better. Introducing the world's first two-piece reverse lockout featuring a height-adjustable rear lever. Finally, an incredibly comfortable reverse lockout that doesn't follow the status quo. Introducing: the RLX Lockout.

Perfect fit and a lovely action. Reverse lockout is 👌🏼 and shifting feels more solid, which I wasn’t expecting so a nice bonus.

Bit pricey but good quality and looks the part

Says it works for 04+STI shifter assemblies, and it wouldn't actually work properly with my shifter. The slot which the fastener goes through to allow the shift release to function was crooked, I had to force it in and now it rides against the slot physically, which prevents it from operating smoothly. I guess I could have either slotted the holes for the base of the assembly to twist and accomodate for this, or increase the slot size to clear the fastener, but.... Why should I have to do extra work for something that's said to just *work*?

I dunno, this is a 3 from me, there's a bit of a strange oversight that I can't touch on, and now I have to either modify my shifter, or get an aftermarket one so that it works more appropriately...

Otherwise, fantastic quality if the product, extremely visually appealing, I'm still a bit mixed with the lever having to release as opposed to lifting the collar, but I guess it's what makes the product line very unique, and that in itself is neato
